Secretts Farm Shop, Farm, PYO and Events FAQ
We’re looking forward to welcoming you to our exciting PYO events. Here’s everything you need to know in advance of booking tickets:
Are tickets refundable?
Unfortunately, tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged.
What's the ticket price for Pumpkin Week?
Entry to Pumpkin Week 2024 is £5 for anyone over 2 years old.
Babies and toddlers age 2 or below are allowed free entry and do not require a ticket.
Tickets must be purchased online in advance. This price includes access to the event only.
Please note, ticket prices do not include the cost of the pumpkin or any of the additional activities.
Can I turn up and pay at the gate?
As we are a ticketed attraction, most days are fully booked in advance. We strongly advise you to book online beforehand to ensure you don’t miss out!
What does my ticket price cover?
The entry ticket price is to cover the set-up costs such as marquees, seating, staff, the haybales, the wheelbarrows and facilities. It also covers the time and effort to ensure a wonderful experience for you on the day, including the Halloween trail, spooky photo opportunities, staging and walkways, pre-event staffing and a chance to enter our Halloween competition.
What do I have to pay extra for?
The following activities and attractions are NOT included in the price of your entry ticket and additional costs will incur.
Glitter tattoos
Waffle on a stick
Biscuit Decorating
Carousel Ride
Mini -pedal tractors
Coffee cart
Food and Drink
Pumpkins
What time do you close:
The gates close at 4pm every day. The last ticketed session is 2.15pm. This allows enough time to walk to the Pumpkin Field and enjoy what we have to offer before the gates close at 4pm.
Do I need a ticket for my baby or toddler?
Great news! There's no charge for children under the age of 2, and they don't require a ticket.
How much does a pumpkin cost?
Pumpkins are priced based on size, measured by our handy pumpkin measuring bench. Prices start at £2 for the smallest pumpkins, and you can pay by card or cash directly in the field.
Do you accept cards?
Yes! We accept both cash and card for your convenience, whether you're buying pumpkins, food, or participating in activities.
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at the event to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees.
Can I bring my own picnic?
While we encourage picnicking, only food and drinks purchased at the event can be consumed within the PYO enclosure. We offer a delicious selection of hot food (pumpkin curry, soup, BBQ sausages) available from 11am onwards. Cold drinks, snacks (including our famous pumpkin cake!), and vegetarian/vegan options are available all day long from 9am. We even have special pick-and-mix lunchboxes for the little ones!
Is there parking?
We offer plenty of free parking on-site. Follow the signs for the PYO area and avoid blocking the farm shop parking. Please note that entry and exit will be through the Chapel Lane Entrance only, and the Squires Centre will be closed during the event.
What about accessibility?
Secretts Farm is a working farm with uneven terrain, and wet weather can make accessibility even more challenging. Unfortunately, the pumpkin field itself is not suitable for wheelchairs or mobility scooters. However, we're happy to help in any way we can. Please reach out to us at info@secretts.co.uk to discuss your specific needs beforehand.
